Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Network QA Engineer to join our dynamic IT & Quality Assurance team. Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure the quality and performance of network systems and infrastructure.
• Perform manual and automated testing of network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to define quality standards and drive improvements in network functionality and performance.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance policies, best practices, and industry standards to maintain secure and efficient network operations.
• Monitor system metrics and conduct root-cause analyses to prevent recurring issues and ensure long-term reliability.
• Support the implementation of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices related to networking systems and provide insights for enhancing automation frameworks.
• Stay up to date with emerging network technologies, tools, and testing methodologies to keep our QA processes at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in network testing, quality assurance, or relevant IT roles.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, etc.

• Familiarity with various network equipment and tools, including packet analyzers (e.g., Wireshark) and testing tools (e.g., iPerf, Spirent, or IXIA).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Python, Selenium, and Jenkins.
• Proven expertise in identifying, documenting, and communicating technical defects in a structured manner.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Desirable:

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Solid experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related testing tools.
• Knowledge of quality management frameworks like ISO, ITIL, or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing in a DevOps environment.

Day-to-day

• Execute test plans for network architecture, components, and configurations, ensuring alignment with user and business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and validate complex network setups using various IT tools and provide detailed feedback on areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple geographies to evaluate product readiness and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews of test reports and contribute to technical discussions for continuous team growth.
• Document and share findings, including test metrics and detailed reports, while maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Participate in training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster growth among junior team members.
