A stealth frontier model lab is hiring a Developer Advocate. The company is pre-launch, sub-15 people, backed by top-tier investors, and heading toward a major general release in fall 2026. The founding team comes from OpenAI, Google Brain, and Meta FAIR. They're solving one of the hardest problems in AI: making LLMs reliable enough to build real autonomous workflows on.
What you'll own
- Documentation, tutorials, quickstarts, and SDK/API references from scratch
- Developer community presence: conferences, hackathons, meetups, events
- Feedback loops between developers and the product team
- Developer programs: early access, betas, bug bounties
- Content: demos, cookbooks, blog posts, conference talks

Two archetypes fit this role:

Hard requirements either way:
- Can code. There's a hand-coding interview.
- Deeply plugged into the AI ecosystem and following it in real time
- Existing audience on Twitter/X or LinkedIn
- Strong technical writing for docs and cookbooks
- Charisma for conference representation
- Low ego, self-aware, hacker DNA
- 3+ years as a SWE, FDE, Solutions Architect or Developer Advocate
