About the Opportunity
Our client is a global provider of broadband access and connectivity solutions serving telecommunications operators and enterprise customers worldwide. They are seeking an experienced Testing Engineer to join their Shenzhen-based engineering team, supporting WiFi validation, broadband access product testing, and customer-facing technical testing activities for international projects.
Relocation to Shenzhen, China is required. Full relocation support will be discussed during the hiring process.
Mandarin is NOT required. Strong English communication skills are sufficient for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute testing activities for broadband access and wireless networking products.
- Perform WiFi performance validation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Support overseas customer deployments and provide technical testing assistance.
- Reproduce customer-reported issues and align field environments with internal testing environments.
- Work closely with R&D teams to investigate defects and accelerate issue resolution.
- Conduct software and system testing for broadband access platforms and customized product releases.
- Analyze customer testing requirements and develop testing plans and validation strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and customer support materials.
- Support customer acceptance testing (UAT) and project delivery activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous product quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, network testing, telecommunications testing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with WiFi testing and wireless network validation.
- Knowledge of broadband access technologies and telecom testing environments.
- Familiarity with GPON/XG-PON technologies and related standards:
- ITU-T G.984
- ITU-T G.988
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as:
- OctoBox
- CDRouter
- IXIA
- TC
- C50
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Willingness to support international customers and overseas projects.
