Location: New York City - 5 Days Onsite
Salary: $200,000 - $400,000 USD + Equity + Benefits

The Role
You will work across infrastructure systems that underpin large-scale simulations and data-driven workflows, owning projects end-to-end and enabling engineering and research teams to operate efficiently.
Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building scalable, high-performance infrastructure systems
• Improving reliability, performance, and efficiency across data and compute pipelines
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks across cloud, networking, and storage layers
• Developing internal tools and platforms to enhance developer productivity

• Supporting the transition of experimental systems into production-ready infrastructure
• Owning infrastructure decisions from architecture through to deployment and optimisation
  

Your Skills and Experience
You will bring a strong foundation in infrastructure engineering within high-performance or fast-scaling environments.
Key requirements:

• Strong commercial experience building and scaling cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Proficiency in Rust, Python, or similar programming languages
