Software (Platform) Engineer
Location: New York City (5 Days Onsite)
Salary: $200,000 - $400,000 USD + Equity + Benefits

The Role
You will design and build the foundational platform that powers the company's core product capabilities and enables users to interact with complex simulation systems.

• Design, build, and evolve scalable platform architecture and production systems
• Develop abstractions that simplify complex technical capabilities into usable products
• Build event-driven systems, internal tooling, and reporting platforms
• Partner closely with product and research teams to translate new capabilities into customer-facing workflows

• Identify patterns across user needs and build frameworks that improve usability and performance
• Take ownership of platform decisions from architecture through to implementation and iteration

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience building production systems and scalable platforms
• Proficiency in TypeScript and or Python within backend or platform engineering environments
