CTO - XR Platform Development

CTO – XR (Unity & Unreal) | Defense Sector | Full Remote | €50–100K + Equity

We are hiring a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the next-generation development of an XR platform for the defense sector. The company already has a set of products on the market and a specialized technical team in place. Our product interacts with hardwares like anti-gas masks and command&control vehicles.

The next step is a new XR project to be designed and delivered within 12 months and then continuously evolved.

This is a technical leadership role for someone who actively codes and builds.

What you will do

● Lead the technical vision and architecture of a new XR project

● Develop directly using Unity and Unreal Engine

● Manage and guide an existing specialized XR team

● Decide how and when to expand the team (hires, freelancers, partners)

● Drive delivery, performance, and scalability of the product

● Shape the long-term XR technology roadmap

Requirements

● Advanced experience with Unity and Unreal Engine

● Strong XR background (VR / AR / MR)

● Proven experience delivering complex real-time 3D projects

● Hands-on programming capability

● Technical leadership and product mindset

● High ownership and execution attitude
