Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst based in Canada.

This role plays a key part in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across business, operations, and leadership teams. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze performance trends, define reporting frameworks, and deliver high-quality dashboards and executive-level reporting. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with business impact, especially in data-driven environments where accuracy and clarity matter. You will contribute directly to improving operational efficiency and enabling smarter business planning. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly focused on measurable outcomes. Accountabilities

  • Analyze internal and external datasets to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support strategic business decisions across multiple functions.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for product, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPI tracking systems to monitor business performance and initiatives.
  • Develop structured reporting cadences and deliver executive-level reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and ensure alignment between data outputs and organizational needs.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity by implementing validation processes and working closely with data owners.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support strategic projects, operational improvements, and decision-making initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role supporting business decision-making.
  • Strong academic background in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, or similar platforms for dashboarding and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical or analytical findings into clear business language.
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect data insights to operational and strategic outcomes.
  • Experience or strong interest in corporate real estate, facilities management, or construction environments is an asset.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
