About The Opportunity
Orbion Infotech is a fast-scaling technology firm specializing in connected mobility, IoT platforms, and cloud-native vehicle data ecosystems for global automotive OEMs and mobility SaaS providers. We build scalable, real-time vehicle telemetry platforms that enable predictive maintenance, driver behavior analytics, and over-the-air (OTA) update orchestration — powering smarter, safer, and more efficient connected cars across India and beyond.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based platforms that ingest, process, and analyze real-time telematics data from connected vehicles using IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket).
- Build scalable microservices in Node.js/Python to handle high-throughput vehicle data streams, ensuring low-latency ingestion and event routing.
- Integrate vehicle data with analytics dashboards, geospatial engines, and 3rd-party APIs (e.g., Google Maps, AWS IoT Core, Azure Digital Twins) for fleet and driver insights.
- Implement robust data pipelines using Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub to process streaming car telemetry — engine, GPS, CAN bus, ADAS, and OBD-II data.
- Collaborate with embedded systems and mobile app teams to ensure seamless end-to-end connectivity from car to cloud to user interface.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance (GDPR/ISO 27001) for vehicle data transmissions and storage across distributed systems.
