Job Description
We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our Payments team and help build scalable backend solutions for a high-load product. You’ll work on payment infrastructure, integrate multiple payment providers, and build reliable services that power our payment ecosystem. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, writing clean code, and shipping things that have a direct business impact, this one’s for you 🚀
💻 What to Expect
- Modern Tech Stack: PHP 8.3+, Laravel 11+, and MariaDB to build and maintain scalable solutions
- Minimal Meetings, Maximum Focus: we value your time and prioritize productivity so you can focus on writing quality code
- Collaborative Environment: experienced teammates who love discussing technical challenges, sharing knowledge, and helping each other grow
- Code Quality First: we’re committed to reducing legacy code, writing tests, and keeping our stack modern and maintainable
- Solid DevOps Support: a dedicated DevOps team handles infrastructure and automated pipelines (PHPStan, PHPCS, unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) so deployments are smooth and reliable
- Clean Architecture: we structure our code for clarity and testability, avoiding “magic” solutions and keeping business logic separate from the framework
- Modular Monolith with DDD: our modular architecture uses scenarios, actions, and events for clean boundaries, and we apply Domain-Driven Design where it adds real value
- Develop and maintain internal services
- Build new features and support existing ones
- Work on product tasks across the full backend scope
- Own critical user paths and ensure their reliability
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- 2+ years of PHP experience
- B1+ level of English
- Experience with one of the following frameworks: Yii2, Laravel, or Symfony
- Experience with SQL databases, caches, and queues (we use MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis)
- Ability to write unit tests
- Understanding and hands-on experience with virtualization (Docker)
- Knowledge of software development and architectural patterns
- Prioritize delivering product value over engineering perfection
