Shopify Frontend Developer

2. About the Opportunity:

The Shopify Frontend Developer role is focused on improving user experience and conversion rates through precise front-end development. This position drives the execution of enhancements on the Shopify platform, contributing directly to site performance, marketing efforts, and overall customer engagement. The role requires independent work aligned with team strategy and aims to accelerate delivery speed while optimizing online store effectiveness.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop Shopify front-end features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Implement A/B tests and troubleshoot issues to improve conversion rates

• Enhance average order value and site performance through UX improvements

• Build custom landing pages and features supporting marketing and product goals

• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest optimized solutions

• Work independently while maintaining alignment with team objectives

4. Requirements:

• Proven experience in Shopify theme development with Liquid templates

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript focused on front-end performance

• Experience with feature implementation, bug fixes, and improving user experience

• Comfortable working in fast iteration environments with A/B testing

• High attention to detail and understanding of conversion impact

• Availability to overlap 3–4 hours with U.S. Mountain Time (9am–5pm MT) for collaboration

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes

• Familiarity with A/B testing tools such as Shoplift or similar

• Background in conversion rate optimization or performance-focused roles

• Experience creating custom landing pages from scratch

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $5,000 to $6,000 per month

• Part-time contract role, approximately 15 to 25 hours per week

• Fully remote work with flexibility in scheduling

• Opportunity to increase hours based on performance and business needs
