Business Analyst - Shared Services Center (Romania)

We are looking to hire a self-motivated Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or Business Partnering.

The role is based in our Shared Service Center in Romania (Bucharest) and it’s a fully remote type of work.

Working schedule 15.00-24.00 (Romania time)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Business Analyst to support key business functions such as Procurement, HR, Finance or other corporate functions. This role will act as a trusted business partner, providing financial insights, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with assigned business functions (e.g., Procurement, HR) to provide financial and operational analysis
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
• Prepare business cases, variance analyses, and ad hoc financial models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and data quality
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process optimization
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal policies and financial controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• English - Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
• 3–7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or Business Partnering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Power BI, and Oracle EPM
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
• Experience presenting insights to senior management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting corporate functions such as Procurement, HR, IT, or Operations
• Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

Reporting Structure

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The Business Analyst will work closely with functional leaders and finance, procurement and HR teams to provide strategic support and business insights.
