🚨 Systems Engineer | London | £120K–£170K DOE + uncapped bonus + equity

An established, high-performing team in London operating right at the centre of Ethereum's transaction supply chain is hiring a Systems Engineer to help push the limits of speed and efficiency in a genuinely competitive, real-time environment.

You'd take ownership of core systems from first principles through to production, with your work shipping fast and having a direct, measurable effect on business performance.

This is a space that's evolving rapidly, with protocol-level shifts opening up real scope to shape both the team's approach and the wider landscape.

Must haves:

• Strong systems-level programming in Rust (C++ considered)
• Comfortable solving novel problems fast in competitive conditions
• Low-level performance instincts re cache behaviour, memory layout, and what your code compiles down to, not just the logic on the page
• Hands-on experience profiling and squeezing out performance gains in production systems
• High agency: comfortable owning a system end-to-end

Highly valued:

• Understanding of blockchain VMs (e.g. EVM)
• Blockchain fundamentals, transaction supply chain, MEV
• Networking optimisation: kernel networking stack, XDP, etc.
• Auction systems or game theory background

On-site in London – relocation supported for the right person.
