Data Business Analyst (Contract)
£500/day (Inside IR35) | Fully Remote | 3 Months + Likely Extension
I'm working with a well-known UK retail business looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a major enterprise data transformation programme.
If you are currently operating as a technically strong Data Business Analyst and feel comfortable scripting/querying in SQL to support large data transformations, this could be for you!

Contract Details:
- £500/day (Inside IR35)
- Fully Remote
- Initial 3-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
You'll need experience with:
- Producing detailed source-to-target data mappings at attribute level
- Interpreting logical & physical data models (ERDs)
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, data quality assessment, joins and validation
- Working with APIs, event streams and source system data contracts
- Writing development-ready user stories and clear acceptance criteria
- Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Collaborating with engineers, data modellers and QA teams
- Stakeholder management, workshops and UAT support
