ABOUT BELLWEATHER
Bellweather is a creative agency for legacy brands: the nonprofits, cultural institutions, healthcare systems, and government organizations that are part of people’s lives. We’ve spent a decade helping these organizations find what makes them matter and bringing it to life through immersive research, artistic collaboration, and creative work that doesn’t look or feel like anyone else’s.
Our clients include Brooklyn Public Library, MetroPlusHealth, Museum Hue, NYC Votes, and Visit Baltimore, among others. We're a certified woman-owned business and a Webby Award–winning agency.
Our work starts with immersive research and deep listening. We spend time in communities, collaborating with artists, poets, photographers, and filmmakers to find what makes an organization extraordinary. From there, we build strategic platforms and brand identities that our clients can own and carry forward long after the engagement ends.
ABOUT THE NAME
Our name combines "bellwether" (a leading indicator) and "weather" (constant change). We help organizations find what makes them extraordinary and give it a platform that lasts.
HOW WE WORK
Bellweather is a fully remote company. Our team is distributed across the U.S., with most of our collaboration happening in Eastern time. We've built our workflows, meetings, and creative process around remote work from the start.

THE ROLE
Bellweather is looking for a Digital Project Manager to help bring bold, thoughtful, and strategic digital work to life. Our digital projects—websites, content marketing, email, paid media, social campaigns, and multi-channel experiences—have a lot of moving parts and a lot of people behind them. This role exists to keep all of it moving: on time, on scope, and feeling seamless for the clients and collaborators involved.

Day to day, you'll be the connective tissue of our digital work. You'll map out what needs to happen and when, run kickoffs, check-ins, and stand-ups, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients as their projects come together. You'll work closely with the Website Director and coordinate a team of designers, writers, strategists, and developers, living in tools like Asana, Slack, and G-Suite to keep everyone aligned. It's a fast-paced role with several projects in motion at once, so expert-level organization, communication, and problem-solving are a must.
Success in the first six months looks like this: your projects run smoothly, clients know exactly where things stand and trust you to guide them, the team always knows what's due and when, and you've started spotting ways to make our digital workflows even better. This is a fully remote position—we're flexible about your day-to-day schedule, but availability during Eastern Time Zone business hours is required.
