Role Overview:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Artificial Intelligence to lead on AI and machine learning initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of their technology and drive meaningful impact through innovative AI solutions. You will manage a talented team of six professionals, with plans to expand to ten, and play a crucial role in guiding the AI strategy and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute the AI strategy in alignment with the mission and goals. Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of AI and machine learning experts.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, development, and deployment of AI projects. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning. Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, and data science to integrate AI solutions into our products.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex AI concepts and project outcomes to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and investors.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in AI and machine learning, with at least 8 years of experience in a senior role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in AI technologies, machine learning frameworks, and data science. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and growing a technical team. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Innovation Mindset: Passion for leveraging AI for social good. Creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative AI solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
