The Project
CPB Contractors has been selected by the Queensland Government as managing contractor for stage one of the new Bundaberg Hospital. CPB Contractors will lead the design phase of the project which involves the design of a new six-storey hospital for acute, medical, surgical and mental health services, as well as emergency, clinical support services, and associated infrastructure.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Project Director, Senior People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner will:
- Provide HR/IR support to the project team.
- Provide advice, coaching and support to managers to facilitate contemporary HR/IR practices.
- Ensure the learning and development needs of the project are identified and addressed.
- Provide support and advice to leaders to ensure participation in performance management initiatives.
- Management of project-based initiatives to attract, retain and grow our talented team.

- Experience in a Business Partnering with a strong focus on IR
- Experience within a construction industry highly regarded.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret employment contracts, awards and enterprise agreements and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work autonomously, self-manage, manage deadlines and work in fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualification/s in HR.
