Angular Developer (Remote) - Financial Services & Fintech

Company Overview

We are a talent acquisition and staff augmentation firm, and we are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients, an organization in the financial services and fintech space. Our client is looking to onboard an Angular Developer across multiple locations in India for a fully remote role that can be offered on a full-time, part-time, or contractual basis, depending on the candidate’s preference and eligibility.

Job Summary

We are looking for Angular Developer s who have extensively worked on Angular version 19 or above. Candidates should have a solid foundation in modern frontend frameworks, expertise in TypeScript, a focus on writing clean and maintainable code, and experience delivering scalable, high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, responsive, and scalable web applications using Angular v19+, following modern development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to transform business requirements into intuitive, user-focused, and production-ready application features.
• Develop reusable Angular components, services, and modules by following established best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and code consistency.
• Enhance application performance through optimization, proactive troubleshooting, and timely resolution of technical issues, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality web applications.
• Contribute to peer code reviews, establish and maintain coding standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance code quality and team productivity.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs while leveraging RxJS and Angular’s reactive programming patterns for efficient state management and seamless data flow across applications.
• Stay updated with Angular’s latest features, ecosystem updates, and emerging frontend trends.
  
  

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of experience building modern frontend applications, with at least 2+ years specializing in Angular development.
• Mandatory experience designing and developing production-grade applications using Angular 19+ and its latest features.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
• Solid understanding of Angular concepts such as modules, components, pipes, services, directives, and dependency injection.
• Demonstrated experience implementing reactive programming concepts using RxJS, Observables, Reactive Forms, and asynchronous workflows in Angular applications.
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful services, implementing JWT and OAuth authentication, and integrating external APIs into web applications.
• Experience with Git or any other version control system.
• Experience with build and automation tools (Angular CLI, Webpack, npm).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

AI Experience

• Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to speed up development and debugging is a plus.
• Awareness of how AI tooling is being introduced into frontend development workflows.
  
  

Managerial Experience

• This is primarily an individual contributor role; prior team-handling experience is not required.
• Comfortable participating in code reviews and helping enforce coding standards across the team.
  
  

Operational Experience

• Experience optimizing application performance and troubleshooting issues in production-grade applications.
• Familiarity with working in fast-paced, agile environments with frequent releases.
• Track record of contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a development team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• Professional experience of 3–4 years in frontend technologies, including a minimum of 2 years focused on designing and developing Angular applications.
  
  

Certifications

• Angular or frontend development certifications are a plus, though not mandatory.
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience utilizing state management frameworks such as NgRx or Akita to develop robust, high-performance, and scalable frontend applications.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or similar tools to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of UI libraries like Angular Material, PrimeNG, or Tailwind CSS.
