LINUX SYSTEMS ADMIN / INTEGRATION ENGINEER

GNR has been retained to identify an ambitious & experienced LINUX SYSTEMS ADMIN / INTEGRATION ENGINEER for a very well-established, highly profitable advanced high-performance computing organization delivering multi-million-dollar solutions.

This is a “highly visible” role with great career growth potential! Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be the LINUX expert that can “get under the hood & dive deep”, writing scripts for everything from low level hardware burn-in to high level software integration.

• You will interact with the Technical Engineering team to help resolve advanced post-delivery issue build, test, and create the clusters on which engineers design systems.
• Installing Linux distributions and debugging complex problems
• Stress and burn-in testing, then executing cluster level testing and filesystem testing

Experience required:

• 2+ years Linux System admin experience or 2+ years integrating systems or designing solutions :
• Extensive knowledge of Linux distributions and comfort operating in them—CentOS/RHEL and Ubuntu proficiency
• LINUX, PHP, Python and C/C++
• Understanding of Git, Github, or other version control system
• US CITIZENSHIP / PERM RESIDENT

LOCATION: Relocation assistance package offered: Massachusetts / Rhode Island region – hybrid work environment with 2-3 days a week in-office
