We're partnering with a well-established, privately held organization in San Antonio, Texas, seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of the HR function. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong workplace culture, partnering with executive leadership, and driving HR initiatives that support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, coaching, and policy interpretation.
- Manage compensation, benefits administration, and annual performance review processes.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement, recognition programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Maintain HR policies, employee handbook, HRIS, and personnel records.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes and programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, and EEO regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
