Your Responsibilities:

• Development of software tools for embedded systems in aerospace applications
• Creation and implementation of technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal configuration of microcontroller systems in a multicore environment

• Development of software applications in C# or Java under Windows
• Execution of tool qualification activities in accordance with DO-178C and DO-330
• Technical and schedule coordination of development activities within an agile team
• Conducting software reviews in the areas of requirements analysis and software design
• Evaluation, documentation, and communication of verification and compliance results
• Active participation in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing innovative products
• Support of exciting projects within interdisciplinary development teams

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience in software development within the aerospace industry
• Solid programming expertise in C# or Java, as well as experience in independently implementing technical requirements

• Experience in the application of model-based software engineering methods and corresponding tools
• Good knowledge of low-level programming in C and microcontroller programming
• Knowledge of software and tool development as well as tool qualification according to DO-178 and DO-330
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for internal and external communication

A permanent employment contract is offered.

The position is compensated within the framework of the IG Metall collective agreement. The salary development includes several salary adjustments within the first 12 months. The average annual salary during the first year of employment is €82,000. Following this adjustment phase, the annual salary from the 13th to the 47th month is €105,000.
