- The successful candidate will have strong experience across networking, IT infrastructure and IP-based technologies, with the ability to support and develop NDI, automated production, cloud-based platforms and media management systems.
- Reporting to the Head of Engineering and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will be comfortable taking technical requirements from initial concept through to the design and delivery of effective solutions.

- Work closely with the Head of Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure studio and associated technologies, including NDI, Dante, automation, graphics and cloud-based platforms, operate correctly and efficiently.
- Manage and support a converged network and IT environment, including planning, design, optimisation, auditing and troubleshooting.
- Take ownership of IT and network-related projects and systems, including requirements gathering, ongoing support, third-party vendor engagement, procurement, engineering builds and on-site management.
- Undertake maintenance activities and general system health checks across multiple technical workflows.
- Provide second and third-line technical escalation support.
- Identify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability and scalability of existing technology and infrastructure.
Role Requirements
- Strong understanding of IP transport, networking, IT infrastructure and associated production technologies.
- Strong experience working within high-pressure, live or business-critical technical environments.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously and clearly communicate technical actions and issues to stakeholders, including C-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects, provide technical support and resolve issues.
- A desire to continue developing a broad and versatile technical skillset.
- Experience supporting the development and migration of business systems into cloud environments, including the management, design and administration of self-managed and/or SaaS cloud services.
- Active interest in emerging technologies and techniques and how these can improve technical operations.
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours, including weekends and remotely, when required.

Essential Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of AV-over-IP (Audio/Video over Internet Protocol) technologies.
- Experience with multicast and unicast networking.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including:

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Degree-level education in an IT, Engineering or related technical subject.
- 5+ years' experience within an IT or Engineering-based role in a live or business-critical environment.
- Experience working with third-party support providers and escalation procedures.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end IT and technical infrastructure projects to a high standard.
