Senior UX Designer (Remote, Brazil-Based)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Designer based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to shape impactful digital experiences by combining user-centered design, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design intuitive, scalable solutions that support customer success and business objectives.

The position requires a strong understanding of UX principles, design systems, and interaction patterns to create seamless experiences across platforms.

You will contribute to the evolution of design practices, workflows, and standards while helping teams deliver high-quality products.

Working in a global, remote-first environment, you will partner with product, engineering, and strategy teams on complex challenges.

This is an opportunity for an experienced designer to influence product direction, mentor others, and help build a mature design culture.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-focused design solutions, improving product experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create personas, user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned with user expectations and business goals.
• Design intuitive and engaging interactions across multiple platforms and devices while ensuring consistency and usability.
• Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and standards that support scalable and consistent product experiences.
• Partner with product management teams to define requirements and translate business objectives into effective design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
• Communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale clearly to stakeholders across product, engineering, leadership, and client teams.
• Establish and improve design processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and quality of delivery.
• Identify design risks, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Mentor and support junior designers by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and encouraging professional growth.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced UX professional with strong design expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

• 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Advanced communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Expert proficiency with UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and Lucidchart.
• Experience creating rapid prototypes and using iterative feedback cycles to improve experiences.
• Experience working in client-facing environments or professional services engagements.
• Ability to solve complex customer challenges through creative, practical, and scalable design solutions.
• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and contributing to design maturity across organizations.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth, fully remote environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Agile product teams.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, Vue, or Angular.
• Understanding of technical concepts including GenAI, APIs, CI/CD, databases, and repositories.
• Experience working with cloud-based products and solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS services and tools.
