Job Title: Computer Support Associate II β Infrastructure & Desktop Support
Location: Kingsburg, CA 93631 (100% Onsite)
Contract Duration: 24 Months Contract (Long-term assignment with multi-year budget stability)
Shift Structure: First Shift | Type 1 Shift (Standard Day Hours), Monday through Friday.
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00/hr on W2

Job Description: Our client, a global leader in autonomous agricultural technology and advanced farm machinery (GUSS Automation / John Deere), is seeking an Onsite Computer Support Associate II to provide end-to-end desktop and IT infrastructure support at their Kingsburg, CA campus. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues for local employees, engineering staff, and shop floor operations. From managing hardware provisioning and Active Directory configurations to supporting local servers, A/V conference systems, and network infrastructure, you will ensure seamless daily operations across the facility.

- Desktop & Hardware Lifecycle Management: Execute workstation deployments, OS upgrades, hardware break/fix repairs, and lifecycle management for laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
- Onsite Infrastructure & Systems Support: Support local server rooms, network switches, basic enterprise infrastructure, and manufacturing/engineering endpoint systems.
- Identity & Provisioning Support: Manage employee onboarding/offboarding IT provisioning, equipment setup, Active Directory user updates, and endpoint security patching.
- Network & A/V Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot wired, wireless (Wi-Fi), VPN, and remote access connectivity; manage conference room audio/visual systems and printing services.
- ITSM & Asset Management: Execute incident, request, and task tickets via ServiceNow; maintain accurate hardware inventory records and asset tracking audits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with centralized enterprise IT and security teams to resolve complex technical escalations and assist during site outage response.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: 1 to 3+ years of hands-on desktop support, IT helpdesk, or field infrastructure technician experience in an enterprise setting.
- OS & Software Stack: Strong troubleshooting across Windows 10/11 operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, and peripheral devices.
- Directory & Network Fundamentals: Working knowledge of Active Directory, endpoint management tools, basic TCP/IP networking, and Wi-Fi diagnostics.
- Physical & Logistics Demands: Physical ability to lift and move computer hardware/servers (up to 35+ lbs), perform physical installations, and maintain a valid driver's license for occasional local site travel.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, CS, or a related discipline is preferred.
Stand-Out Skills (Preferred):
- Previous experience providing IT support within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial field operations environment.
- Hands-on proficiency using ServiceNow for ticket management and asset inventory workflows.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with endpoint security policies, patch management, and AV/collaboration room technologies.
