Freelance WordPress Developer

We’re looking for a UK based freelance WordPress developer to help us deliver websites to our ever growing list of excellent, purpose driven clients. If you have a proven track record of building custom WordPress themes and you care about the finer details when it comes to best coding practices and you’re also motivated by working on projects with environmental and social purpose, please read on.

Required Skills

• Ideally you’ve been building WordPress sites for 5 or more years.
• A solid understanding of PHP and CSS.
• Well versed with creating custom themes.
• No reliance on page builders, Bootstrap or clunky frameworks.
• You dislike Elementor, Divi, Visual Composer, Avada, Cornerstone, and so on…

• Ability to write clean code resulting in fast loading sites.
• Ability to code custom, flexible meta fields be that with ACF, CMB2 or otherwise.
• Your approach to building sites is modular.
• Confidence with Gutenberg, including creating custom blocks.
• Impeccable time management skills and ability to consistently keep to agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Great communication skills and a willingness to communicate directly with clients.
• Efficiency and meticulous attention to detail are paramount.
