Odysseus Space is looking for a full-time Systems Engineer to join our headquarters in Luxembourg.
Qualifications
Holds at least a master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with a minimum 2 years of experience.
Is familiar with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or Model-Based Design, and motivated to apply it.
Background in one or more relevant domains such as: Free Space Optics (FSO), fibre optics, satellite systems, channel modelling, ground stations, control systems, Space Situational Awareness, communication theory.
Has had exposure to the full product development lifecycle from requirements to V&V and operation.
Experience in either multi-disciplinary design, multi-physics simulation, or complex R&D/prototyping.
At least basic awareness of the engineering disciplines; optics, photonics, electrical, thermomechanical, control systems, embedded systems and software.
Is comfortable with Microsoft Office, Teams, Asana and can quickly become proficient in new software.

Translate mission and operational needs into clear requirements, architecture, and constraints.
Elicit, analyse and maintain stakeholder and system requirements and compliance tables.
System performance modelling, simulation, and model validation.
Manage system budgets and trade-offs.
Manage and monitor the technical tasks and risks across a multi-disciplinary team.
Define, develop, and verify the interfaces between subsystems.
