Key Responsibilities

Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflict resolution, investigations, policy interpretation, corrective actions, and disciplinary procedures.
Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching support, documentation, and performance improvement plans.
Monitor employee engagement and workplace culture, collect feedback, and support initiatives that improve communication, morale, and retention.
Identify training needs and assist with employee training, manager development, and operational learning programs.
Participate in workforce planning, headcount analysis, staffing allocation, scheduling discussions, and organizational structure improvements.
Track and analyze HR data, including turnover, attendance, performance, retention, and other workforce indicators, and prepare reports for management.
Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, HR procedures, and applicable federal and state employment laws.
Support organizational change, operational improvements, and cross-functional HR projects.
Assist with compensation, benefits, and other employee programs in collaboration with regional or corporate HR teams.

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) — Bilingual Mandarin/English


Location: Carteret, New Jersey

Employment Type: Full-time, W-2, On-site

Compensation: $21–$25 per hour

Immigration Support: OPT employment support and H-1B lottery registration/sponsorship for eligible employees


Exceptionally strong candidates with highly relevant experience may be considered for compensation above this range, including a salaried arrangement.

As our network continues to expand, we are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Business Partner to support our employees, managers, and operational teams in Carteret, New Jersey.


Position Overview

The HR Business Partner will work closely with business leaders and front-line operational teams to support workforce operations and organizational effectiveness.


This is not a recruiting-focused position. The primary focus is employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, policy implementation, employee engagement, organizational coordination, and day-to-day HR support for site operations.


Candidates must bring one of the following two backgrounds:

• HRBP Background: Hands-on experience in HR business partnering, employee relations, people operations, performance management, or supporting operational business teams.

• Front-Line Logistics Background: Hands-on experience in last-mile delivery or logistics operations, with direct exposure to Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), drivers, warehouses, distribution stations, or site operations.


Professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Carteret, New Jersey.


Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and operational managers to understand workforce needs and align HR support with business objectives.

• Serve as a day-to-day HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on workplace policies, employee concerns, and people-related decisions.

• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, internal transfers, attendance matters, and offboarding.

• Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflict resolution, investigations, policy interpretation, corrective actions, and disciplinary procedures.

• Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching support, documentation, and performance improvement plans.

Qualifications

– Hands-on HRBP, employee relations, people operations, or operational HR experience; or

– Hands-on front-line logistics experience working directly with DSPs, drivers, warehouses, distribution stations, or site operations.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, DSP partners, and operational teams.

• Good judgment and the ability to handle confidential or sensitive employee matters professionally.

• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational needs.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or other employee-management systems is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hourly employees, warehouse teams, drivers, or other front-line workforces.

• Knowledge of employment laws, employee relations practices, and HR policies.

• Experience with performance management, workforce planning, employee engagement, or organizational change.
