Job Description

Job description

Trakyo is marketing attribution for creators, agencies, and online education. We track which YouTube video, Instagram reel, ad, or sales call actually drove revenue — across deep links, tracking pixels, webhooks, and stitched user journeys.

Revenue is strong and growing fast. The product is dense — dashboards, funnels, lead journeys, a lot of numbers on one screen — and design has been owned by engineers so far. That's where you come in.

You'd own the look and feel of the product end to end, and you wouldn't hand your work over a wall to see it come back wrong.

What you'd own:

  • The design system and component library, and keeping the product coherent as it grows
  • Data-dense product surfaces — dashboards, charts, tables, filters, funnels — where the hard part is making a lot of information legible
  • Onboarding and activation: getting a new customer from signup to seeing their own data
  • Front-end quality in general — polish, responsiveness, accessibility

Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, HeroUI. AI-forward — Claude Code, plus automated deep review on every PR.

Must have:

  • 5+ years designing and shipping product UI, with a portfolio of data-dense application work — not marketing sites
  • Comfortable in the codebase. You can make component and styling changes in React and Tailwind and open a PR — you don't need to build features end to end, our engineers handle data wiring.
  • Strong opinions about hierarchy, density, and defaults — and able to explain them
  • Comfortable in a small team, hands-on, owning the whole surface

Bonus:

  • Analytics, BI, or dashboard products
  • Design systems built on a component library
  • Data visualization depth
  • Multi-brand or white-label theming

Details:

  • Fully remote, GTA-based (occasional in-person team hangouts)
  • Compensation Range: CA$120K – CA$150K
  • 2-week sprints, async-first

How to apply: Email me at roger@trakyo.io with your portfolio and a few lines on the densest interface you've designed.
