Job Description
Senior Healthcare Platform Engineer
About the company
Our client is an early-stage healthcare AI company building personalized care assistants for Medicare beneficiaries. The platform combines human healthcare advocates with AI agents that handle operational work across appointments, insurance, care coordination, and clinical workflows. The company was founded in 2025, has raised $6.5M from leading venture investors, and already supports tens of thousands of users in California.
The role
You will own the healthcare integrations and revenue-cycle surface area end to end. This is a high-autonomy platform role connecting the product to EHRs, payers, eligibility services, clinical partners, and claims infrastructure so delivered care turns into accurate claims and reliable payment.

What you'll do
• Build an automated claims platform that ingests semi-structured activity data, determines billable work, generates claims, and dispatches them to insurers.
• Own healthcare integrations across EHR, clinical, eligibility, billing, and claims systems.
• Design reliable distributed workflows using queues, idempotency, reconciliation, and clean internal data models.
• Model messy healthcare data so product and AI systems can reason over it.
• Manage vendors and make pragmatic build-versus-buy decisions.
• Partner closely with operations stakeholders and translate workflows into durable platform capabilities.
