Key Responsibilities
Automate manual tasks performed by healthcare advocates (e.g., outbound calls to insurance providers, doctors, pharmacies, and patients)
Design and implement agentic search and multi-agent workflows for complex healthcare navigation tasks
Develop evaluation infrastructure to measure and improve AI automation quality using real-time metrics and regression suites
Implement reinforcement-learning loops to train models using real-world patient interactions and actions
Collaborate with a small, high-growth team to iterate rapidly and deploy AI solutions in production

$180,000 to $220,000 base salary plus competitive early equity

- Shipped voice AI to production (not demos)
- 1 to 10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including systems with a voice component
- A clear signal of excellence: a growing startup (Series A to D), major products shipped, funding raised, olympiad, or similar
- Undergraduate CS degree from a top-25 university in the US or Canada
- Production voice AI stack: streaming STT/TTS, telephony (Twilio/SIP), latency optimization, endpointing
- Agentic systems: context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, RAG
- Rapid learner who thrives in ambiguity and builds the playbook rather than following one
- Willing to relocate to San Francisco in Q1 2027
