What you will do
- Secure systems across multi-cloud and/or multi-region infrastructure.
- Secure multi-tenant platforms, focusing on tenant isolation and authorization models.
- Implement privacy-adjacent security controls, including PII handling, data residency, and GDPR/CCPA compliance.
- Manage cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
What we are looking for
- 6+ years of experience as a security engineer with deep knowledge of distributed systems.
- Experience as an early security hire (first 3) at a SaaS product or data infrastructure company.
- Background transitioning from Backend software engineer to Security engineer.
- Computer Science, Math, or Physics degree.
- Experience with application security and technical interviews.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Go.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud security, data residency, and GDPR compliance.
- Experience with tenant isolation and authorization models.
