Location: Southeastern United States

Relocation is required (On-site)

The Opportunity

SkyBridge Luxury is conducting a confidential search for a Vice President of Human Resources on behalf of an established and growing hotel management company with a diverse portfolio of independent, lifestyle, and branded properties.

This executive will lead the company’s people strategy while building the structure, consistency, and scalable HR practices needed to support continued growth. The Vice President will partner closely with executive leadership, ownership stakeholders, corporate teams, and property leaders across a multi-state operating portfolio.

The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on hospitality HR executive who understands hotel operations, exercises sound judgment, and can introduce effective processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead an enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives, culture, operating model, and growth plans.
  • Provide executive oversight of HR practices across the corporate office and a decentralized, multi-state hotel portfolio.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, ownership stakeholders, operations leaders, and property management teams.
  • Build scalable policies, processes, systems, and accountability standards that improve consistency across the organization.
  • Lead employee relations strategy, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, documentation, and escalation protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Direct workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, and talent retention strategies.
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategy, including leadership pipelines, hard-to-fill positions, recruiting consistency, and employer branding.
  • Strengthen onboarding, training, and professional development programs for corporate and property-level leaders.
  • Oversee performance management practices that reinforce accountability, employee development, and operational performance.
  • Advise leadership on compensation, incentive programs, job structures, pay equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Lead HR systems strategy, people analytics, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, employee records, company policies, and handbook development.
  • Lead and develop the corporate HR team while managing departmental resources and priorities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Senior-level human resources leadership experience within a hotel company or multi-property hospitality organization.
  • Meaningful experience supporting hotel operations and property-level leadership teams.
  • Proven responsibility for a decentralized, multi-state workforce.
  • Ability to establish long-term strategy while remaining actively involved in execution.
  • Strong command of employment law, compliance, employee relations, investigations, wage and hour practices, and leave administration.
  • Experience building structure, improving processes, and implementing consistent HR practices across a growing organization.
  • Broad oversight experience spanning talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, HR systems, payroll coordination, and leadership development.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance employee advocacy, operational priorities, ownership expectations, and organizational risk.
  • Credible executive presence and the ability to influence leaders throughout the organization.
  • Experience within independent, lifestyle, branded, or third-party hotel management environments.
  • Willingness to relocate to the position’s home-office market in the Southeastern United States.

Compensation and Benefits

The company offers a base salary of $200,000–$215,000, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and the opportunity to shape the people strategy of an expanding hospitality organization.

Specific company and location details will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.
