Full Stack QA Engineer | Tokyo | Hybrid | FinTech
Salary: 6,000,000 JPY~12,000,000 JPY depending on experience
Hybrid work: Twice a week in office minimum
We’re hiring a Full Stack QA Engineer to join a rapidly growing international FinTech company and help shape the next generation of financial services in Japan.
This is a great opportunity for a QA professional who enjoys test automation, modern technologies, and AI-driven quality engineering, and who wants to have a real impact in a large-scale product environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, and test cases across mobile, web, and API applications.
- Drive test automation while also taking ownership of manual and exploratory testing.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze requirements and ensure strong functional and non-functional test coverage.
- Identify, track, and resolve defects while continuously improving QA processes.
- Act as a QA subject-matter expert and support junior engineers.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Leverage AI tools and LLM technologies to improve test design, automation, and exploratory testing.
- Validate AI-powered applications, including testing for hallucinations, bias, drift, robustness, and performance.
- Explore technologies such as OpenAI APIs, RAG, embeddings, and MCP integrations.

Tech Stack
Automation: Appium, Playwright, Selenium, Rest-Assured, Cucumber
CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins or similar
Architecture: Microservices, APIs
AI: OpenAI API, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, MCP
Cloud/Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes
Performance: Gatling, JMeter, wrk
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in QA automation.
- Experience testing mobile apps, web applications, and/or APIs.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework such as Appium, Playwright/Selenium, or Rest-Assured.
- Experience with Cucumber and CI/CD environments.
- Strong understanding of test strategy, test case design, and QA methodologies.
- Good knowledge of microservices and their testing challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional experience using AI productivity tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or similar.
- Knowledge of OpenAI APIs and LLM integration.
- Business-level English, Japanese is not required.
