About the Role
This is a hands-on development role. You'll set architecture direction, lead a small development team, and still write code yourself. You'll own how our systems are built, turn business needs into well-scoped features, and keep delivery moving week to week. You'll work closely with our strategic product lead, who owns overall product vision, while you own technical execution end-to-end.

Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture decisions across API design, database design, and overall system structure
- Translate business needs into product features by gathering requirements from departments and turning them into clear, detailed tasks
- Take on hands-on coding.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services across our hosting, CDN, and cloud providers
- Ensure delivery stays on schedule and to quality across sprints

Requirements
- Solid software engineering background — you can read, review, and write code, and developers respect your technical judgment
- Proven experience managing overseas development team in a senior capacity
- Strong grasp of full-stack architecture: relational databases, API design, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure and third-party services
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and actionable tasks
- Excellent communication skills for working across development, design, and non-technical departments
- Fluent in modern engineering practices: Git workflows, CI/CD, automated deployment and code review
- Experience running agile/sprint-based workflows
