A profitable, growing video technology company powering personalized, interactive video experiences across web, mobile, and connected TVs. Their platform enables broadcasters, streaming services, and major consumer brands to build rich, interactive video products — combining commerce, data, and automation — without writing code. They work with category-leading media, sports, and entertainment brands to deliver next-generation direct-to-consumer video experiences.
They're looking for a mid-level QA Engineer to help ensure high-quality user experiences across mobile and Connected TV platforms, with a hands-on focus on manual and exploratory testing alongside growing automation coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing manual and exploratory testing for CTV and mobile applications, validating functionality, performance, and UI/UX consistency across devices
- Designing, executing and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases and automated test scripts for regression, smoke and feature testing
- Supporting development and maintenance of automation scripts (Appium, WebDriverIO or similar) under guidance from senior QA/automation leads
- Collaborating closely with developers, product managers and designers to clarify requirements and identify edge cases early
- Tracking, logging and verifying defects, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication on impact and priority
- Participating in test cycle planning and execution, providing QA input during sprint planning and release reviews
- Validating builds across multiple platforms and OS versions to confirm release readiness
- Assisting with device lab maintenance and test environment setup for CTV and mobile testing
- Contributing to ongoing process improvements and expanding automation coverage

Ideal Profile:
- 3–6 years of QA experience in software testing, ideally within media streaming, CTV, or mobile app environments
- Hands-on experience testing CTV (Roku, tvOS, Fire TV, Samsung, LG, etc.) and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, regression testing, and Agile workflows
- Basic experience or familiarity with test automation tools such as Appium, WebDriverIO, or Playwright
- Working knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot performance, playback, and UI/UX issues across platforms
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills, written and verbal
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management best practices is a plus
- Exposure to Charles Proxy is a plus
- Exposure to GitHub or similar version control is a plus
