Job Description

A rapidly growing, technology-driven organization is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to own the design, architecture, reliability, and scalability of network infrastructure across a complex, multi-site environment.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior networking professional who enjoys solving challenging infrastructure problems, building highly available environments, and introducing automation into network operations. You’ll have significant ownership over network architecture while partnering closely with infrastructure, security, IT, and operations teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Own network architecture across data center, campus, multi-site, WAN, and cloud environments
  • Design scalable routing and switching architectures, including BGP, OSPF, segmentation, and route policy
  • Build and support VXLAN/EVPN spine-leaf fabrics, including VTEPs, VNIs, VRFs, and DCI
  • Lead new site deployments from topology design and capacity planning through production
  • Architect highly available connectivity, VPNs, firewall infrastructure, and redundant network paths
  • Drive network automation using Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and CI/CD
  • Contribute to Kubernetes and container networking, including CNI and ingress

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of professional network engineering, infrastructure, or network operations experience
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience designing and operating large, multi-site enterprise environments
  • Strong production experience with BGP and OSPF
  • Hands-on experience with VXLAN/EVPN and spine-leaf architectures
  • Strong campus LAN and enterprise wireless experience
  • Experience with high-availability and network redundancy architectures
  • Strong SD-WAN architecture and implementation experience
  • Hands-on experience with VPN technologies, including IPsec and remote-access VPNs
  • Cloud networking experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, Python, Pulumi, CI/CD, or similar automation technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Juniper and Palo Alto
  • Advanced BGP experience, including route reflectors, communities, traffic engineering, and multi-provider environments
  • Deep AWS/Azure networking experience, including Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPN Gateway, VPC/VNet, and hybrid routing
  • Kubernetes networking experience with CNI, ingress, service networking, Calico, MetalLB, or similar technologies
  • Experience managing ISP relationships and large-scale circuit deployments
  • Structured cabling, data center build-outs, or low-voltage project experience
  • Experience designing 24/7 highly available production environments

Compensation & Benefits

  • $189,000–$227,000 base salary
  • Incentive Stock Options (ISO)
  • 100% employee coverage for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 50% dependent insurance coverage
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible/unlimited vacation policy
  • Relocation stipend available for qualified candidates relocating to the Los Angeles area
  • Significant opportunity to influence network architecture and infrastructure strategy

Location & Travel

  • Torrance, CA
  • Hybrid schedule with 3–4 days onsite per week
  • Candidates will be expected to work onsite during their first three weeks of onboarding
  • Approximately 10–20% travel for site deployments

Work Authorization

Due to applicable U.S. government export-control requirements, candidates must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements, including being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

If you’re a senior network engineer who wants genuine ownership of architecture, automation, and large-scale infrastructure—and wants to build networks that will support a rapidly scaling organization—this could be an excellent opportunity
