This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous AI platform company that empowers brands to deliver concierge customer experiences through conversational AI.


We’re identifying a small number of exceptional senior security engineers from our network. If there’s a strong fit, we’ll introduce you directly to the engineering leadership team.


Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Compensation: $200K - $330K base + competitive equity

About the role


As a Senior Security Engineer, you will own application security for the company's AI platform, ensuring the protection of sensitive customer data. You will collaborate with product engineering teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle and develop security practices across the organization.

The Ideal Candidate


  • 4+ years of experience in application security or software engineering with a focus on security.
  • Proficient in Google Cloud Platform, Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, and security tools like Semgrep, CodeQL, SAST, DAST, and IAST.
  • Strong ability to design and implement security controls and practices.
  • Experience in leading security code reviews and architecture assessments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high ownership.
