Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative Front-End Website Developer to be responsible for leading the ideation, design, development, and optimisation of our website and user portals, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve user experience, enhance conversion rates, and modernise our digital platforms. Your role will involve improving the user experience, implementing end-to-end testing, optimising site performance, and optimising SEO. With a strong focus on both technical skills and user experience design, you will play a key role in shaping our online presence and achieving our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Design & Development: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of our website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
• User Experience (UX) Optimization: Continuously iterate on user journeys, focusing on optimization points to reduce drop-offs and improve the overall efficacy of the journey.
• User Portal Management: Rebuild and modernise our user portals and internal administrative portals. Oversee improvements and ongoing management of user portals, including project dashboards and onboarding interfaces.
• End-to-End Testing: Implement and execute thorough end-to-end testing using libraries like Jest or Cypress to ensure proper functionality and a seamless user experience.
• SEO & Traffic Growth: Collaborate with marketing to improve site traffic through SEO. Focus on increasing the conversion rate of visitors to clients.
• Analytics & Reporting: Analyse user journeys, identify drop-off points, and conduct A/B testing to continually optimise the site for better performance and higher conversion rates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the backend team to ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end systems. Understand data requests and ensure proper data flow to the front end.
• Design Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, contributing to a consistent visual identity that aligns with business goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Increased conversion rate of site visitors to clients.
• Optimised user journeys with reduced drop-off points.
• Improved SEO rankings
• Successful implementation of new features and portals.

Required Technical Skills:

• Front-End Development: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Next.js, ReactJS, Apollo Client, and GraphQL.
• Source/Package Control: Experience with Git and NPM.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Testing: Experience with Jest, Cypress, or similar end-to-end UI testing libraries.
• Design & UX: Strong design skills with a passion for user experience design. Ability to create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work from suggestions/ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• At least 3 years experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio
• Deep understanding of modern front-end technologies and design trends.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MongoDB, REST APIs, and AWS services.
• Familiarity with Recharts, Plotly, shadcn, and Tailwind CSS for integration with platform dashboards and interfaces.
• Experience with web scraping tools like Beautiful Soup for targeted marketing strategies.
