Role & Responsibilities

• 80% New Design & Development
• Functionality is Sophisticated & Complex
• Cloud Native, Microservices, Containerization, TDD, CI/CD
• Python, AWS (Lambda, EC2), Stonebranch, Snowflake, Splunk, Git
• TDD, paired programming

Design - Develop - Implement

• Automated data integration processes
• Framework for data validation
• Integrations with 25+ third-party vendor products (trading, risk, etc.)
• Analytics system to advance analysis and reporting capabilities.

As a developer, you will have significant exposure to the business which includes multiple asset classes (custom tax-managed equities, fixed income, traditional models) and comprehensive portfolio management capabilities (construction, optimization, trade modeling, rebalancing equities portfolios, accounting).

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years+ enterprise software development including transactional data.
• Supporting Finance, Institutional Investment Management, Front Office is ideal.
• Design, develop & improve data-intensive applications using Python.
• Understanding of cloud-native principles
• AWS, serverless architecture, lambda
• Unit testing, TDD, Git
• SQL, Snowflake
• Stonebranch is a significant plus
• Ability to clearly articulate the approach, process, and results in a front-facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Responsibility, integrity, and a passion for your work.
• Must be willing to interact with others, share ideas, and work collectively.
• BS or MS, in computer science or related preferred, not required.
