Our client, an innovative tech-for-good startup, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Python Developer to join their team as their first engineering hire. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Guide and mentor a growing engineering team, providing strategic direction and technical oversight throughout the development process.
• Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, secure backend architecture, essential for the company’s future growth.
• Technology Integration: Ensure seamless integration of technologies, including Python, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and gRPC, within a serverless Google Cloud environment.
• Problem-Solving: Address and overcome challenges related to scalability, security, and performance, ensuring the platform adheres to the highest industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Demonstrated experience in backend development and leading technical teams, with a strong record of delivering successful projects.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Python, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and gRPC, with practical experience in a serverless Google Cloud environment.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on creating scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
