PROJECT INFORMATION: 

We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Developer Consultant to undertake a critical project migrating the Unit4 ERP system from an on-premises solution to Azure cloud services. This role requires significant experience with ERP system migrations, particularly with Unit4, robust knowledge of .NET frameworks, and a strong expertise in managing and reconfiguring integrations.

The consultant will lead the migration of the Unit4 ERP system to Microsoft Azure Cloud. This complex project involves not only a transition of the ERP system but also the reconfiguration of approximately 30 existing integrations to new cloud environments, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality across business operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting the full migration process of the Unit4 ERP system to Azure Cloud, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and business goals.
• Reconfiguring and optimising around 30 existing integrations, ensuring they are robust, secure, and efficient in the new cloud setup.
• Collaborating extensively with the technical project manager to align the migration and integration processes with corporate strategies and timelines.
• Translating business requirements into detailed technical plans that accommodate all existing integrations without disrupting operational continuity.
• Independently managing significant components of the project, troubleshooting as needed and advocating for effective solutions that minimize downtime.

MUST HAVE: 

• At least 4-5+ years of hands-on backend experience.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET for backend development.
• Deep expertise in cloud migrations, particularly Azure, and significant experience with the Unit4 ERP system.
• Strong skills in developing and reconfiguring integrations in a cloud migration context.
• Comprehensive understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS as they relate to ERP systems and integration points.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and make decisive, effective technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with project leaders and stakeholders across functional areas.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.

OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS: 

• Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, or other databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, etc., which may be utilized during the migration and integration processes.
