Software Engineer C++

THE ROLE:

• Own and deploy software solutions for critical missions, including Counter Intrusion and Command & Control systems
• Solve challenges in networking, autonomy, and systems integration, making pragmatic engineering decisions
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test functionalities
• Write code to enhance products and scale mission capabilities
• Travel up to 30% for real-world deployments
• Maintain a "Whatever It Takes" mindset, prioritizing successful outcomes with a focus on quality and end-user needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 4+ years of C++ experience in a Linux development environment
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
• A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases

PREFERRED

• Background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning for modeling & simulation (M&S) and physical systems.
• Feature and algorithm development expertise, including a solid understanding of behavior trees.
• Proficient in distributed communication networks and message standards.

*Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $240,000
