Lead Animator

Our client, an independent developer known for their successful historical melee combat game, is looking for a Lead Animator to join their team in Slovenia. You will lead a team of 4 animators and be responsible for creating high-quality 3D animations for both human characters and creatures in their upcoming PC & Console action combat game.

As the Lead Animator, you will oversee the entire animation process, from keyframe creation to final implementation in the game engine, including working with blend trees and state machines. Collaboration with the graphics and production teams is key to ensuring timely delivery of high-quality animation assets.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior or Lead Animator in the gaming industry.
• Proficiency in keyframe animation with a strong animation demo reel.
• Good knowledge of animation implementation in game engines like Unreal or Unity.
• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Experience in Unreal Engine is a bonus.
