Long term and fully remote contract / freelance opportunity for a Windows Engineer to join my leading client in the Public sector on their Pan-European Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation programme. The role of the Infrastructure Engineer will be to join an existing Infrastructure Engineering team to provide hands on support to a variety of new projects, as well as BAU/Operational work.

To be successful in this role you must have experience with:

• Windows Server – Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Hyper-V
• Azure Cloud (VM’s, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, Azure Networking)
• Powershell scripting
• SCCM
• IaaS/PaaS/SaaS

The ideal candidate will also have experience with:

• Terraform/Azure Automation/Azure Devops
• SCOM / Azure Monitoring
• Be Microsoft / Azure Certified
• Experience with migrating applications from on-prem infrastructure to cloud
