Junior/Intermediate Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

Job Type: Full-time or long-term contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our client's team. This role is fully remote and can be Full-time or a long-term contract.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails

- Create back-end components

- Connect the application with other web services

- Support front-end developers to integrate their work

- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs

- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements:

- 4-6 years of experience in Ruby on Rails

- Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer

- Experience with PostgreSQL

- Understanding of object-oriented programming

- Competence with Ubuntu

- Independence and readiness to take on a high level of responsibility

- Verbal and written English proficiency

Nice to have:

- Experience in the banking, accounting, or finance sector

Rate: R 200 per hour
