Position: Platform Engineer
Industry: Cloud Hyperscale
Location: Sophia Antipolis (relocation assistance is offered if needed)
Remote Work: 2 days/week
Salary: Base + 10% variable + stock options
Technical Environment: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Golang (Golang proficiency is not mandatory)

MISSIONS
- Design and develop the core infrastructure that will support both engineering teams and customers.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code deployments and configure large-scale clusters for networking, storage, and compute resources.
- Integrate and maintain open-source components within our evolving technology stack.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop custom solutions addressing our unique challenges.
- Develop and enhance tools that increase team efficiency, including CI/CD, local development configurations, build toolchains, and essential infrastructure.
- Create a roadmap for the development of software components, aligned with team priorities and vision.
- Take the lead in defining and achieving our technical goals.
â—‹ Required Setup
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position.
- Expertise in distributed systems and Linux systems engineering, with experience in production environments.
- Proficiency in either Python or Golang (a background as a Software Engineer is required).
- Mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code tools and automation like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (all communication is in English).
- Experience in developing and improving compute, storage, and data platforms with a background in open-source products.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and communication skills to effectively address complex platform engineering challenges.
