Software Engineer - Surveillance/Optics/ Machine Vision

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. 

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and applications; For Camera Control, Pan Tilt Camera Control
• Encoding/ Decoding in H265 - working with IP camera inputs
• Controlling cameras using serial connections
• Linux set up including automation ( full system starting from boot )
• Joystick control of PTU unit
• Knowledge of OpenCV and various sensor drivers

Contract work

• £20-£40 Per hour dependent on skill level
• Fully remote possible, but testing in London South/West area better
