PhonePe UI Engineer Job Opening

PhonePe is India’s top digital payments company with a whopping 500 million users and 37 million merchants. We cover over 99% of India’s postal codes. Beyond payments, we’ve branched into financial services like insurance and mutual funds. Plus, we offer tech-enabled ventures like Pincode for local shopping and Indus App Store, India’s first localized app store. Here’s what we’re looking for:

1. 1-3 years of coding and problem-solving experience, preferably in FinTech.
2. Strong understanding of computer science basics like object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, able to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
4. Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and mobile-first development.
5. Experience with modern web frameworks, with expertise in at least one.
6. Ability to own and drive success for multiple web products.
7. Knowledge of usability principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
8. Passionate about web performance optimization and implementing it across all products.
9. Proficiency in browser tuning and optimization techniques.
10. Experience in large-scale web architecture.
