Senior Software Engineer Team Lead | END CLIENT

From K2 Partnering Solutions we are looking for a Software Engineer Team Lead, to join one of our client and be part of an international Engineering Team.

You will be responsible for the overall performance and delivery of the team, career, and people development, and visibility and communication with stakeholders.

You will be working closely with the Director of Engineering on developing, managing, and empowering up to 8 engineers for creating a productive, fast-paced, and high-quality delivery engineering culture.

Location: Romania, 100% remote

Type of contract: This is not a B2B model, this is a opportunity as a employee.

Requirements:

● Possess over 3 years of hands-on experience in people management and leadership roles with engineering teams.

● Have more than 7 years of extensive professional experience in software development, especially working with complex systems.

● Have a solid understanding of software architecture, web platforms and big data technologies.

● Are aligned with Agile and Lean software development principles.

● Implement engineering best practices and prioritize quality over quantity.

You are ideal if you have strong skills with:

- Python

- API Rest

- System Design

● Ensure the visibility of the team’s activities and smooth communication with all the different stakeholders.

● Collaborate with team members to establish clear goals and empower them to achieve successful delivery of their tasks.

● Take ownership of keeping the features and products available, stable, and reliable in production.

● Provide technical knowledge and foster the growth of your teammates through supporting knowledge-sharing activities and cross-skilling programs.

● Ensure a positive team experience and understand each individual’s concerns and needs.

● Develop and gather improvement proposals in terms of ways of working, technology, and tools.

● Lead by example and contribute hands-on towards the team’s goals when required.
