Lead Technical Artist

Lead Technical Artist - $130k - $230k - NY based

Plexus has partnered with an immersive media enterprise that publishes video game titles shaped by the input of the gaming community, adding a unique and engaging dimension to their offerings.

They are looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join the team for one of their exciting upcoming gaming projects that has huge plans for this year. They have a strong preference to candidates that can come into their collaborative and fun NY office and will help with relocation to NY for the right profile!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the 3D art asset piepline and guide the content creation process
• Update Technical documentations and prepare assets and material needed
• Implement and uphold a performant terrain generation solution
• Address any issues that arise with art assets and graphics

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a technical artist or similar roles
• Shipped atleast 1 gaming title
• Understanding of Unity URP, proficiency in crafting shaders and a strong grasp of 3D graphics, 3D production pipelines and PBF-based lighting
• Proficiency in Blender and Substance workflows
• Demonstrated creativity and an ability to depict urban/suburban building materials
• A great portfolio showcasing recent work
