Network Security Engineer

Kariera, on behalf of a prestigious and dynamic organization, is looking for a skilled Network and Network Security DevOps Engineer. This is a fully offsite position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe while being part of a respected team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructures using the CISCO product suite.
• Manage Checkpoint and Fortinet environments, including FortiManager and Fortinet NSE5.
• Handle firewalls, proxies, and network security solutions.
• Contribute actively to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.
• Work with SSL environments using JNCIS-SEC.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure optimal network security.
• Clearly and concisely explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Document and maintain configurations and network security procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructure with the CISCO product suite.
• CCNP certification required, CCIE is highly preferred.
• Fortinet NSE5 certification and experience with FortiManager are a plus.
• Proven experience with Checkpoint firewalls (CCSE certification).
• F5 certification and experience with proxies.
• Experience in a Service-Oriented Architecture provider environment is highly recommended.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain composure and clarity of thought under pressure.
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent English level
